Readers want to know what they're reading, a human-made story or a machine-made story. Many readers refuse to read artificial novels, and a growing movement is boycotting them and the platforms they’re on. Artificial novels join a growing wave of “slop” and algorithmic feeds flooding the attention of readers and big tech platform users around the world. To take care of our minds and nervous systems, readers have gone on digital detox diets and joined book clubs to reconnect with book lovers in person. Silent book clubs, in which readers gather together just to read quietly, are all the rage!

It surprises me to find that I haven't said much here on this blog about my biggest, longest running project: my novel! I've been working quietly on it for a decade. It's coming out now, ready or not.
You know and I know what authors do when there’s a new book to launch. There are three main rituals:
the cover reveal
the unboxing
the book signing
I performed these virtually and posted the videos (see below).
